I am a professional Welsh artist, living and working in Snowdonia, North Wales. After studying fine art at Cardiff College of Art, I moved to London to pursue a career in craft as a gilder and carver. I returned to painting in 2000 and now paint full time.

I am a member of the North Wales Society of Fine Art. I also exhibit in open exhibitions in Wales and the North west and won the People's Choice award at the Royal Cambrian Academy Open in 2016.

My work can also be seen and purchased from my studio/gallery, and I exhibit works in Galeri Betws y Coed on a regular basis. I have work in private collections in the UK and Europe.

I aim to capture the wild landscape of Snowdonia, sculpted by the forces of wind, rain and ice, and the surprisingly vivid colours of blue-green glacial lakes and rock-strewn, grassy moraines. There is an intensity to this landscape, an untamed wildness that is both alluring and dangerous. I am fascinated by its illusion of permanence which belies its violent volcanic past and 450 million year journey to a become such a magnificent place.
